Here's how it works:
1. Hand out flyers to your members and friends. We will provide a PDF copy of the flyer - you simply print and distribute!
See EXAMPLE FLYER. It will be personalized with the name of your organization. The flyer gives a short description about the Growing Kids Sale and includes instructions about how they can raise funds for your organization.
2. Your supporters just bring their copy of the flyer with them to the Growing Kids Sale on Friday ONLY and hand it to the cashier when they pay for their purchase. That's it! (please note that your Fundraiser Friday flyers must be given to your participants prior to the GKS event. Flyers can NOT be distributed at the Growing Kids Sale location.)
3. Growing Kids will calculate the total of all purchases made with your flyers (on Friday only) and send you a check for 10% of the total. It's that easy!
4. Checks will be mailed within two weeks of the end of the sale.
Hint: The more flyers you hand out and the more excitement you generate for your fundraiser, the more money your organization will earn!
The deadline to apply for participation in Fundraiser Friday is Friday, March 1st, 2013.
All applications are subject to approval by the GKS staff, and apply to the upcoming sale only. Only organizations that meet the following guidelines will be considered:
-You must be an established organization with a clearly defined purpose.
-Types of organizations include educational, religious, philanthropic, cultural, hobby or health. Examples of qualified organizations include schools, church youth groups, charities, boy scouts/girl scouts, sports teams, etc.
